Frieze Newsroom, 7 September 2025

New York, NY – On September 7, 2025, The Armory Show concluded its 2025 edition and the first fully organized under the leadership of Kyla McMillan, Director of The Armory Show. From the start of the VIP Preview on September 4 through its closing hours on September 7, the fair saw confident sales and a consistently energetic population of exhibitors, collectors, curators, artists, and guests, totaling approximately 50,000 attendees. The fair's success was reflected in the recognition of quality exhibitor presentations within a refreshed floorplan that encouraged new forms of engagement. Beyond the Javits Center, The Armory Show extended across New York City, through partnerships and events that connected the fair to the city's wider cultural landscape.

Garrett Klein, co-founder, Massey Klein Gallery, “This was our first year participating in The Armory Show, we've had a really great experience! The vibe was definitely celebratory, as many existing clients and friends were excited about our participation in the fair this year.  We've met with a lot of new collectors and advisors as well and sales were good. Overall visitors were very engaged with the works we presented by Kate McQuillen, who is such an amazing artist. We were also able to meet many other dealers who presented wonderful works and those connections were very meaningful.”
